Summary : This is a hands-on supervisory position. The Production Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in manufacturing processes, such as assembling, welding, and applying knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products.

9 / 80 schedule- every other Friday scheduled off!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the daily work activities of an assigned production team
• Participate in the hiring process
• Reconcile and approve payroll time sheets bi-weekly
• Complete performance evaluations for all direct reports as per company policy
• Oversee and / or conduct training of new and existing employees
• Fabricate and test thermal products and support hardware
• Identify materials, both incoming and in-process, as required per material identification and inspection procedures
• Complete and maintain manufacturing travelers, as required
• Acts to assure product quality and customer satisfaction
• Perform in-process and final inspections, as required
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Work as part of the team to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Monitors quality of incoming raw materials and finished products
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
• Interprets or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists production workers in solving work problems
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
