    Job Description :

    Seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for night shifts in a correctional facility. Ideal for those who excel in dynamic settings and can work independently.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver nursing care in a correctional environment.
  • Administer medications and IV therapy.
  • Float between units within a 10
  • 30 minute radius.
  • Uphold professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Adapt to schedule changes, including holidays.

    • Qualifications :

  • Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.
  • 2+ years LVN experience; 1+ year in Acute Care or Med Surg.
  • BLS and IV Therapy certifications.
  • Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych preferred.
  • Resilient and independent under pressure.

    • Schedule :

  • Night shifts, 36 / 48 weekly rotation.
  • 13
  • week assignment, potential for extension.
  • Weekend and holiday availability required.

    • Additional Information :

  • COVID
  • 19 vaccination required; exemptions accepted.
  • Must be flexible with unit assignments and schedule changes.
