A DAY IN THE LIFE :
As a Manufacturing Documentation Specialist I , you will be responsible for collecting, reviewing, editing, and compiling technical data to create customer-facing End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).You’ll work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, Engineering, and Operations to ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with customer requirements.This role offers the opportunity to apply your organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced aerospace environment, while learning the intricacies of technical documentation and manufacturing processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
Create & Compile : Develop End Item Data Packages (EIDPs) using product travelers, test documentation, and collected test data.Ensure Accuracy :
Partner with Quality Assurance to verify completeness and correctness of EIDPs.Streamline Processes :
Implement improvements to simplify and enhance EIDP creation and review workflows.Coordinate Priorities :
Work with Production Schedulers and Operations Program Managers to manage EIDP timelines.Collaborate Cross-Functionally :
Gather data from technicians, production, and engineering teams to ensure documentation is accurate before QA review.Support Operations :
Provide input on calibrated tooling, consumables, and documentation needs as required.Travel Occasionally :
Support EIDP activities at other sites as needed (YOU’RE AWESOME AT :
Technical Comprehension : Able to read and understand manufacturing drawings, drawing trees, and technical documentation.Documentation Skills :
Strong written communication, editing, and organizational abilities.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Comfortable working with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and operations teams.Attention to Detail :
High level of accuracy, precision, and consistency in handling technical documents.Problem-Solving :
Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and streamline processes for efficiency.WHAT YOU’LL NEED :
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in English, Journalism, or a related field preferred. 1+ years of cross-functional experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, or operations.Aerospace or engineering background a plus.Experience with database input and extraction.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and writing skills.Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy and precision.Ability to obtain a U.S.Security Clearance.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS :
The starting rate for this position ranges from $28.00 - $32.00 per hour , depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.In addition to a competitive base salary, Innoflight offers a well-rounded compensation package that includes a Profit-Sharing Bonus and a Cash Performance Bonus to reward both individual and company performance.Additional benefits include :
