Job Title : Electrical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler with a passion for working with small parts and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in small part assembly, particularly in electrical or wiring tasks. Proficiency with hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, rulers, and crimpers is essential. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and be available to work on Fridays and Saturdays for 5-8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Follow established assembly instructions for fiber optic cables and products.
• Maintain a minimum standard quota for job assignments in terms of time and piece count.
• Comply with all safety requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Develop an intermediate understanding of tool names and their uses in assembly.
• Learn entry-level component identification and product knowledge.
• Achieve intermediate-level measurement skills using standard and metric systems.
• Perform tasks accurately and thoroughly to ensure quality products.
• Report any irregularities related to daily goals, quality, or delays to production management.
• Use basic problem-solving skills to identify and solve problems, initiating constructive changes.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean manufacturing setting focused on producing fiber optics for government and private customers. Employees will wear a basic gown similar to a lab coat in a cleanroom type environment. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, with frequent overtime on Fridays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
