Position Summary

The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for maintaining production, quality performance levels, and the efficient use of manufacturing equipment in accordance with his / her knowledge and training in conformance with established Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be able to operate all machine shop equipment Milling machines (manual and CNC), lathes, surface grinders and other equipment
• Experience servicing repairing progressive high speed stamping dies
• Experience servicing and repairing high cavitation plastic injection molds
• Must be able to work unsupervised to a tolerance of .0001”
• Responsible for setting up and troubleshooting molds and dies – Schaal high speed stamping presses, Sumitomo plastic mold injection machines
