Workdays Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) Industry teams main purpose is to deliver Workdays consulting services and build an outstanding customer experience by delivering engaging and innovative consulting services. In addition to bringing leading practices to our customers, partners, and employees make the most of the Workday system.

About the Role

Job Description : The Financial Services & Insurance Industry (FSI) Senior Financials Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workdays Financials solution for our FSI customers and help establish and champion best practices for all FSI deployments. The ideal candidate for this position should have experience within the FSI Industry in General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations. Additionally, the candidate should have an understanding of financial touchpoints to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

  • Become an expert in the Workday Financials product suite
  • Provide FSI Industry perspective for customer business requirements
  • Ensure FSI Industry best practices are maintained to reflect new industry requirements and trends
  • Perform the following on an engagement : understand client business requirement
  • Serve as a mentor for new Financial Consultants
  • Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday FSI Industry best practices
  • Ensure the client is referenceable once the client is in production
  • Participate in update training and other events that help share ones product skills with other consultants

About You

Basic Qualifications :

  • 4 - 5 years FSI Industry - ERP Implementations - General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations Implementations experience
  • Financial touchpoints to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets Experience
  • Workday Deployment Experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • P - 5 - 7 years FSI industry - ERP Implementations - General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations Implementations experience

    Financial touchpoints to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets Experience

    Workday Deployment Experience

    Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

    Other Qualifications :

  • Experience with Workday Accounting Center
  • Experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must, including active listening and the ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences
  • Strong industry knowledge is essential, including staying abreast of current trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments to contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and identifying new opportunities
  • Strong influencing skills, including persuasive communication
