Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support students in Huntsville, TX for the remainder of the 20252026 school year. This role begins November 10, 2025 and offers both in-person and hybrid (3 / 2) options, with in-person preferred.

Location : Huntsville, TX

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : End of school year

Schedule : MondayFriday

Hours : 37.540 / week (school hours)

Modality : In-person preferred; hybrid (3 / 2) accepted

Grade Levels : Elementary, Middle, and High School

Caseload : 5060 students (Amergisum 70)

Floating : Assignments based on need; campus location not selectable

Openings : 1

Pay Rate : $40 / hr

Assist SLP with clinical, educational, and treatment-related activities

Provide speech and language services within scope of care

Support documentation and progress monitoring

Collaborate with staff and maintain professional standards

Follow all district, state, and Amergis policies

Bachelor's degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders

Active Texas SLPA license

Minimum 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent

1 year of SLPA experience preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of speech-language disorders and conditions

CPR, TB screening, and health certificate (if applicable)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Minimum age : 18
