Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Seattle, WA. You will be responsible for building scalable, responsive applications using ReactJS and NextJS, ensuring accessibility compliance and optimized performance.

Rate Range : $45 / hour to $60 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include :

• Build responsive, scalable applications using ReactJS, NextJS, and React Native for tablet-first, mobile, and desktop experiences.
• Develop and optimize pages (Home, Receiving, Ordering, Item Lookup, On Hand) using SSR and ISR for performance and reliability.
• Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance and deliver inclusive, touch-friendly user interfaces.
• Implement performance best practices, including code splitting, route prefetching, and list virtualization for fast load times.
• Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests using Jest, React Testing Library (RTL), and Playwright to ensure application stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and ship cohesive solutions following coding standards and best practices.

Pay Details : $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
