L3Harris’ Communication Systems segment is seeking a Senior Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering Lead for the Next Generation Jammer-Low Band (NGJ-LB) program. This position reports directly to the Engineering Director / Chief Engineer of the NGJ-LB program.

Position Overview :

This position will be responsible for leading key system design efforts for the NGJ-LB program.  Key responsibilities include detailed design of the mission processing, mentoring other architects and developers, model-based design, planning of engineering efforts in an agile and earned-value process environment, system-level hardware and software / VHDL testing, metrics tracking & reporting, and future related proposal efforts.

The NGJ-LB program will replace the Navy’s legacy ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System hosted on the EA-18G Growler aircraft. More details about the program can be found at the following link :

Essential Responsibilities :

• Broad understanding and experience in designing new electronic system development, including all major aspects of Systems Engineering.
• Deep technical understanding of at least one discipline in the Electronic Warfare domain, such as digital signal processing, Software and VHDL development, RF electronics and antennas.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical development efforts
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage, track, and report relevant progress metrics.
• Experience identifying risks and proposing mitigations when necessary.
• Experience delivering highly technical messages / presentations communicating at the level of the audience.
• DoD proposal experience.
