Fives North American Combustion, Inc. is hiring a permanent, full-time CNC Machinist to join our team in Cuyahoga Heights, OH.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be :

• Ability to set up and run CNC equipment utilizing Fanuc controls.
• Ability to follow work instructions by maintaining specifications, by observing milling, turning, drilling, tapping, grooving and cutting operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect parts. Check accuracy of work against blueprints.
• Ability to read mics, calipers, OD’s, tool pre- setting / comparators, dial bore gauges and make proper tooling offsets in the machine tool, as well as proper speeds & feeds.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
