About The Position

Job Description :

Seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support surgical services by performing the decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and reusable medical supplies. Responsibilities include preparing case carts, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with the OR team to ensure timely delivery of sterile instruments. Candidates must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED

Technician certification from CBSPD or HSPA (CRCST) – Required

Minimum 6 months of sterile processing or related experience

Strong understanding of sterilization techniques (steam, gas plasma)

Ability to read, follow instructions, and perform simple math

Basic computer skills

Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge of hygiene, safety standards, and inventory practices
