We’re looking for a creative, detail-driven editor and content strategist with a serious passion for LS and LT performance engines to take the wheel at LSX Magazine—the ultimate online destination for GM V8 performance enthusiasts. Whether it’s a twin-turbo LSX drag car, an LTX swap in a classic C10, or the latest in tuning and tech, LSX Magazine delivers hardcore content for the modern GM performance world.
As the Editor for LSX Magazine, you’ll lead the charge in creating and curating compelling content across articles, social media, event coverage, videos, and more. You’ll work with a talented crew of freelance writers, photographers, and our in-house video and design teams to tell the stories that ignite LSX fans across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage all content production—written, visual, and social—for LSX Magazine, ensuring an engaging, authentic voice that resonates with the LS / LT performance community.
- Drive content strategy and lead the content calendar, managing content / car features, industry events, products, and trends that make LSX the go-to source for LSX enthusiasts.
- Collaborate with freelance and in-house contributors to develop content.
- Attend and cover major LSX events, offering exclusive insights and capturing firsthand stories that keep our audience on the pulse of the industry.
- Work closely with POWER to align LSX’s content direction with overall business goals and audience interests.
Minimum Qualifications
Expert knowledge of LSX and LT performance and upgrades.Experience in automotive content creation, writing, and / or editing.Understanding and experience with social media content.Photography and video experience.Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional storytelling skills with a proven ability to engage, educate, and entertain audiences.Experience managing freelance contributors, content schedules, and multi-channel content projects.Proficiency with creative tools, including WordPress, Photoshop, and basic video editing software.Job Details
This position can be in-office (Temecula, CA) or remote / hybrid.Salary range is $45K – $75K annually, determined based on market benchmarks, role, background, skills, and experience.Full benefits package includes contributions toward medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), paid time off, holidays, and sick leave.Occasional travel is required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
