Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus. Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with various types of press brake machines and tools. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team in Marion, OH. As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in the bending and shaping of metal components. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for working with machinery, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed.
