• Experience with anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depressive disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use.
• Knowledge of physical hold protocols and psychoeducation.
• Ability to conduct face-to-face assessments in high-stress situations.

Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Behavioral Health for our facility.

The position is for day shifts, working 12-hour shifts.

The unit welcomes first-time travelers and offers a supportive environment.

The patient ratio during the day is 5 patients per nurse to ensure quality care.

The role involves working with adults and managing a daily census of approximately 14 patients.

Experience with charting systems is required, preferably Epic.

Candidates will be responsible for providing care to patients presenting with various behavioral health issues.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.

Weekend shifts may be required as needed.

Floating to like units may be necessary based on facility needs.
