About the Role :

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Harbor Lakes Nursing and Rehab, you will play a critical role in delivering compassionate and high-quality nursing care to our residents. Your primary focus will be to support the health and well-being of patients by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote recovery and comfort. This role requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy, ensuring that each resident's needs and preferences are respected and met with dignity. Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact the quality of life and health outcomes of the individuals entrusted to our care.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas.
• Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated ability to perform nursing duties in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional certifications enhance the nurse's ability to manage specialized treatments like IV therapy and wound care, contributing to better patient outcomes. Multilingual abilities facilitate culturally sensitive care and improve resident comfort and understanding.

Harbor Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation offers shift differential pay- (2pm-10pm is $1.00 / hr and 10pm-6am is $2.00 / hr)
