Physical Therapy Tech
The Physical Therapy Tech works only under on-site supervision of a PT / PTA. Tech will perform specific patient treatments as directed by the PT / PTA. Tech will prepare the patient and / or the area for treatment. He / she is responsible for maintaining the physical order of the department. Tech will assist in transporting patients as needed. Tech will assist with clerical duties and the orientation of new employees and volunteers as needed. The Physical Therapy Tech must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of patients with impaired mentation, vision, hearing, or mobility.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of on the job training.
