Schedule : Monday–Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Compensation : $75,000–$82,000 (Depending on Experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a Dual-Licensed Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, integrated behavioral health services to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about delivering evidence-based care, promoting recovery, and improving access to mental health services in a community-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans addressing both mental health and substance use needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-informed care.
- Collaborate with psychiatry, medical providers, case managers, and community partners to ensure continuity of care.
- Facilitate psychoeducation and relapse-prevention groups tailored to dual-diagnosis populations.
- Perform risk assessments, crisis interventions, and safety planning as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency and state standards.
- Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and continuing education to support professional growth and program development.
- Advocate for clients and assist with community resource navigation, including housing, employment, and social services.
Qualifications
Education : Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.Licensure (North Carolina) : Must hold dual licensure—one for mental health (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LPA) and one for substance use (LCAS, CCS, CADC, or equivalent).Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience providing therapy to clients with co-occurring disorders.Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, clinical documentation standards, and integrated care models.Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in EMR systems and outcome-based treatment planning.Preferred Qualifications
Certification or training in trauma-informed care, EMDR, or other specialized modalities.Experience working in community-based or outpatient behavioral health settings.Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.Familiarity with harm reduction, MAT, and evidence-based relapse prevention models.Compensation & Benefits
