Client-reported Net Patient Revenue (NPR)NPR Lift (financial impact of revenue cycle management operational improvements)Cash Collection Forecasts (derived from Client-reported Net Patient Revenue)Ensembled Full Outsource Collections Revenue forecasts (derived from forecasted cash)Client-reported Net Patient Revenue Forecasting and Analytics :
Analyze trends in patient volumes, patient statusing, service line utilization, acuity, and payor mixPerform "rate vs. volume" analysis to gain insights into changes in reported revenuesPresent observations in a succinct, professional manner to internal and external stakeholdersEvaluate NPSR and Net AR results monthly and trending over time, identifying variancesUnderstand reserve methodology for clients and challenges they may presentProvide assistance / coverage for monthly client close callsNPR Lift Analytics :
Support fulfillment of analytics / data requests required for decision making needs and performance risk mitigationAssists in maintaining NPR lift reporting tools to support business decision-making, forecasting, and performance improvementAssist in designing, developing, and implementing enhanced methods for capturing NPR LiftContribute to ensuring all changes to reporting, processes, and procedures are reflected, appropriately documented, and consistency maintainedCash Collections Forecasting and Analytics :
Analyze and understand operational metrics affecting monthly cash collectionsCollaborate with operational teams to understand client projected cash trends trajectoryForecast cash collections and communicate to all stakeholdersEnsemble Full Outsource Collections Revenue Forecasting and Analytics :
Collaborate with accounting to understand any one-time or ongoing client adjustmentsAnalyze monthly revenue results and proactively communicate variances to expectationsProject Management Responsibilities :
Lead cross-functional projects related to revenue cycle optimization, NPR Lift initiatives, and forecasting improvements.Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables; monitor progress and ensure completion within scope and deadlines.Facilitate stakeholder meetings, track action items, and manage risks to project success.Implement process improvement methodologies (LEAN Six Sigma preferred) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Serve as a liaison between Finance Leaders, operational teams, and IT for system enhancements and reporting.Other Responsibilities :
Ensure that all assigned activities are completed on-time, within scope, and all observations along with any barriers are communicated to the appropriate partiesComfortable working at a high level of performance under tight deadlinesPerforms high quality work, responsible for verification of the accuracy of the information reportedEvaluation of current processes and tools and propose changes to drive efficiencies within the organization.Maintains HIPAA and patient confidentiality training and handles confidential matters in accordAnticipates leadership needs by gathering records, reports, data, and correspondence for accurate reporting and provides ad hoc reporting for when requestedEstablish and maintain interdepartmental relationships with all stakeholdersExperience We Love :
1 to 3 years of similar job experience10 or more years of Leadership experienceExcellent interpersonal skills required to communicate with internal / external customersMust possess excellent time management and organizational skills. Demonstrated critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and decision-making skills.Must be analytical, perform computations accurately and quickly, identify and compute ratios and percentages.Strong data skills, including relational database management, proficiency MS ExcelFinancial or Accounting experience in healthcareKnowledge of Revenue Cycle structure.
