We are seeking an experienced Ironworker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling bridges, tanks, vessels, and other projects in the yard. This role requires expertise in steel erecting, performing ironwork, and rigging.

Responsibilities

• Assemble bridges, tanks, vessels, and other projects in the yard.
• Perform steel erecting and ironwork.
• Engage in rigging tasks.
• Utilize torches, magnetic drills, grinders, and tack welding as needed.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, laying down, and lifting.

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial fabrication shop characterized by hot, dirty, and dusty conditions. The facility is equipped with 2-5 open fans and is open-air to ensure ventilation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gibsonton, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00 / hr.
