Retail Sales Representative - Palm Springs, CA

The Retail Sales Representative is a Part-time role and will service retailers in Palm Springs, CA and surrounding areas. The position is Monday-Friday (2 days a week). Must have reliable transportation and iPad to enter in data / photos.

Location : Palm Springs, CA (within a 25 mile radius)

This position is Part-time, 16 hours a week

Compensation : $18 hourly

Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must.

• Retail work will entail (but not limited to) ordering product, working product to shelves from new orders, etc.
• Conduct audits and merchandising in area grocery stores
• Drive to various retail locations
• Verify that our clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves
• Report findings and data to management through downloaded app
• Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores
• Adhere to attendance and dress code guidelines
• Must be able to perform physical activities, i.e., frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, etc. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Comply with any additional guidelines established by the store team
• Attend client kick off video calls
• Serve as a brand ambassador by building and cultivating relationships with store and department managers.
• Monitor sales volume and inventory levels.
• Present and create awareness with store management about approved deals from corporate.
• Encourage stores to order more products and accept the orders.
• Support promotional activities by negotiating / building displays to ensure product is available for consumers.
• Place in-store promotional materials; neck-hangers, aisle stoppers, danglers, coupons, samples etc.
• Rotate products and assist with new item cut-ins.
• Monitor and ensure the approved schematic layout and planogram.
• Take pictures of products, displays and competitive sets.
• Complete daily and weekly reports as instructed.
• Execute special promotional campaigns and resets as directed.
• Additional activities as requested by company management.
