A day in the life of a Registered Nurse includes : Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation Assessment. Nurses will cover CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine / Pet.\n\nEssential Duties : \n-The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.\n-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.\n-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.\n-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.\n-Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.\n-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.\n-Manages care of patients.\n-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and / or clinical priorities.\n-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.\n-Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.\n-Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation.\n-Performs age and disease specific assessment / data collection independently in a systematic manner focusing on physiologic, psychological and cognitive status.\n-Recognizes clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.\n-Identifies variables in patient / family education needs based on age, disease, and culturally specific learning differences.\n-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\nCare Career Job ID #33228924.
