The Clinical Nurse III in the Neonatal ICU provides specialized care to high-risk infants during night shifts. This role requires active collaboration with the nursing team to deliver comprehensive patient assessments and implement treatment plans. Candidates must have a valid NYS RN license and at least one year of Level IV NICU experience.

The clinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families and colleagues through displays of kindness and active listening. Recognizes and appreciates that each employee’s work is valuable and contributes to the success of the Mission. Seeking an experienced NICU RN. Must have at least 1 year of level IV NICU experience to qualify. This is a part time, night shift position requiring 60 hours per pay period (every two weeks). Scheduling includes alternating between two and three 12 hour shifts per week. Weekend and holiday rotation required.

Job Description

• Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local / state / federal rules and regulations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
• Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
• Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
• Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
• Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Qualifications

Hourly Range : $36.73 - $60.93
