Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Cost Accountant role in Oklahoma City, OK. Key Responsibilities :

• Manage cost accounting processes for multiple plants, assisting with product costing and ensuring accurate cost roll-ups based on valuation of input materials.
• Support financial, forecasting, and pricing projects as needed.
• Assist with cost savings initiatives across plant and corporate locations to meet SP27 goals, providing accurate reporting, monthly updates, and year-to-date savings data.
• Prepare and review weekly and monthly cost-to-produce and P&L reports, ensuring accuracy in raw material blends and shop order data.
• Evaluate and update standard labor and overhead rates as needed.
• Set up new products or purchased items in the Adage system, including revisions from the labeling & specifications manager.
• Assist with month-end closing duties and related accounting activities.
• Provide support for pricing requests and special projects as required.
