Driver

This position will play a key role in ensuring the safe transport of children daily to and from school. This position is Monday through Friday, split shift position with a 4 hour per shift guarantee. In the school off season drivers can still work for the company transporting cruise ship passengers or other driving work should they choose to do so. Drivers represent the face of the company and help ensure every ride is smooth, timely, and memorable.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet and comply with all company, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirementsProvide excellent service to transport students to and from schoolAssist passengers with loading and unloading luggage (as needed)Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance needsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and operations staffFollow assigned schedules and maintain timely arrivals and departuresMaintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all timesQualificationsMust have at least a Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement (Required)Must have at least 2-3 years CDL passenger driving experience (Required)Must be over 22 years of ageClean driving record and current DOT medical cardMust pass pre-employment background check and drug screeningStrong communication and interpersonal skillsTeam Player who is reliable, honest, and able to work independently, exercising sound judgementBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
