The role is responsible for management for revenue for assigned areas which include but not limited to KENAN, Latis, and Federal SAP / Dassian internal systems. Management of Revenue includes explaining variances and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for assigned billing systems; maintaining the DRS (Deferred Revenue System); and attending monthly meetings related to changes and new product offerings. Assist the Senior Director of Margin with additional projects.
This position has been designated as fully remote in the U.S.
The main responsibilities include managing multiple direct reports, ensuring all end user billing activity from various billing systems is interfaced to the ERP system completely and accurately, maintaining DRS (Deferred Revenue System) for deferred revenue treatment of charges, reviewing manual journal entries for accuracy and proper documentation, maintaining balance sheet reconciliations related to the revenue lines and billing systems, preparing revenue and expense variances for responsible areas, attending monthly meetings and assisting Technical Accounting with GL account coding for new products / offerings, and supporting audit functions for Internal / External / SOX Compliance.
What we look for in a candidate includes extensive knowledge and application of generally accepted accounting principles, a bachelor's degree in accounting, minimum of 8 years of total accounting experience with at least five years in a public company, minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience, ability to work in a complex environment, excellent analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision with a continuous improvement mindset. Preferred qualifications include Certified Public Accountant, public accounting experience, Big-4 preferred, and experience with SAP and in the technology industry.
Compensation information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
