A company is looking for a Detection & Response Security Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Build out detection engineering capabilities by designing and implementing detection logic across various security tools
Own and lead security incident response investigations using data analytics and system forensics
Extend detection capabilities into the product by instrumenting application-level telemetry
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in security engineering, detection engineering, or incident response
Strong engineering fundamentals, ideally with a degree in computer science or engineering
Proficiency in Python, Go, or another programming language
Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and EDR technologies
Familiarity with cloud security fundamentals and incident response in production environments
