What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at utility locations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel and / or Allied Universal management. Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies. Assist with emergency evacuations and / or drills as directed by site management or Allied Universal. Complete accurate and timely logs and reports related to daily activities and security-related incidents. Minimum Requirements : A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
