From test prep and college lists to scholarships and admissions, we equip families with a roadmap for success. Our centers provide personalized support, expert guidance, and a welcoming environment that empowers students to reach their goals.
We are expanding our Irving team and looking for a College Advisor who is passionate about mentoring students, connecting with families, and helping them successfully plan for college.
Role Overview
As a College Advisor, you'll work directly with high school students and their families to guide them through the entire college planning process. Using Class 101's proven curriculum and resources, you'll help students explore schools, manage timelines, apply for scholarships, and confidently pursue their goals.
This is a part-time, hourly position with incentive opportunities based on the number of students you serve and your success in helping families enroll.
What You'll Do
Lead one-on-one and group sessions using Class 101's structured college planning curriculum.
Guide students through each step of their college journey—from test prep to applications and scholarships.
Maintain consistent, clear communication with families about student progress and next steps.
Motivate and encourage students to stay on track throughout the process.
Build deep knowledge of Class 101's systems, tools, and student planning approach.
Participate in workshops, community events, and presentations to connect with families and build relationships.
Attend team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, student-focused environment.
(Optional) Host family information sessions to attract new students and earn additional incentives.
What We're Looking For
Experience working with teens, families, or in education, coaching, or youth programs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you enjoy helping others succeed.
Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Self-motivated with a passion for mentoring and education.
Comfortable learning new tools and following structured systems.
Bachelor's degree preferred (education, counseling, psychology, or related field a plus).
