Estimated Weekly Salary Range :

$1760 - $1890

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Wisconsin or compact state)

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift

Minimum of 2 years of recent bedside clinical experience in Med / Surg or related specialties

Experience in medical-surgical nursing, acute care, or hospital settings preferred

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized patient care plans

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a medical-surgical unit

Supervise and guide Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in electronic health records

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and participate in patient rehabilitation programs

Initiate discharge planning and provide patient / family education from admission

Promote patient and staff safety by following hospital policies and safety protocols

Maintain effective communication with physicians, charge nurses, and healthcare providers

Support a positive team environment and participate in unit team-building activities

Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation

Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nurses
