Job Description

The Temple is expanding its Float Pool with the addition of an Intermediate Care unit. As an ICU RN, you will provide care for a patient population that includes Med / Surg, PCU, and ICU. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 3, with the possibility of floating to other Stepdown and Med / Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of the licensed physician.
  • Utilize nursing theories and principles to individualize patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to established standards and policies.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Must possess a PA or MSL Compact Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • Preferred : Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty.
  • Professional education or additional certifications may be prioritized based on specialty area.
