Job Summary

As the Records Management Library Specialist, you will assist in maintaining the MPCA Library collection so that it meets current collection policy and internal and external customer needs. The incumbent will research and process library requests from internal and external customers to ensure MPCA reports are properly digitized and stored in MPCA information systems in accordance with established processes, requirements and guidelines. The incumbent also assists with the review and processing of library materials held in off-site storage. The incumbent will also process MPCA historical records into the MPCA databases.

Physical Requirements

Requires occasionally lifting and / or carrying such articles as file folders, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
