What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter, observing for suspicious activity and reporting any concerns.

Help to deter theft, vandalism, and other undesirable behaviors through visible patrols and attentive presence within the retail environment.

Assist with access control, monitor entrances and exits, and verify credentials of individuals as required by site guidelines.

Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols, maintaining clear and accurate records.

Collaborate with retail staff and management to address security-related concerns and support a positive shopping experience for customers.

Remain alert to environmental and security-related hazards within the retail setting and report any maintenance or facility concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements :

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Experience in loss prevention is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
