Tax Senior Manager or Director - T&E [Trust & Estate]

Overview

Tax Senior Manager or Director - Trust & Estate (T&E) within the National Tax practice. Location : Miami, Florida. This is a remote position; some occasions may require presence at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

Your Team

This role sits within the National Tax Team and focuses on Trust & Estate work, with potential involvement in 1040 / 1041 work. You will partner with other tax experts and have opportunities for rapid development.

Your Role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Review complex gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns
• Review fiduciary accountings for trusts and estates
• Provide tax planning and consulting to high-net-worth clients for estate and individual income taxes
• Read and summarize estate planning documents; provide guidance on federal and state income and death tax treatment
• Research and consult on various estate, gift, and trust issues (trustee / beneficiary issues, estate administration tax impact, generation-skipping tax)
• Develop opportunities within existing clients and pursue new clients
• Prepare and present technical training to specialty group and core tax department
• Maintain responsibility for managing all aspects of client relationships
• Manage a team of professionals to complete engagements from start to finish
