Senior Credit And Collections Analyst

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Senior Credit and Collections Analyst. This person will be responsible for coordinating and following through on collecting payments, reducing past due, bad debt exposure, and other quantitative targets, by performing portfolio management activities for customer base of key accounts.

Responsibilities :

• Performs day-to-day activities in a fast-paced environment to ensure effective account management on collection accounts.
• Contacting customers with past due balances via phone and email in the portfolio to obtain payment, payment commitment, and follow up on payment promises.
• Reporting any disputed / short paid invoices with reasons for disputes and collaborating with the internal department to expedite resolution / payment
• Perform customer account reconciliation including support to cash application team for clearing customer payments and credit items
• Interfaces with Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve billing, collection, and credit issues.
• Establishes strong working relationships with the sales team to support collections efforts.
• Preparing proposals for third party agency placement and / or write off to bad debt
• Support and develop accounts receivable process improvements
• Processes new customer credit applications, and research customers' financials, organizational and payment history utilizing credit reference letters and credit reports.
• Training new hires
• Performs other duties / projects as assigned or as required by the position.
• Achieve individual goals and established KPIs.
• Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
