Responsibilities :

  • Perform a variety of image-guided procedures using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
  • This can include procedures like angioplasty and stenting for vascular disease, uterine fibroid embolization, image-guided biopsies, and tumor ablation.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
  • Provide pre- and post-procedural care for patients, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and monitoring recovery.

  • Maintain meticulous patient records.

Qualifications :

  • M.D. degree and residency in diagnostic radiology.
  • Successful completion of a fellowship in interventional radiology.
  • Board certification in diagnostic radiology with a subspecialty certification in interventional radiology preferred.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
