Primary Position Objectives
Works with direction setting up, adjusting and operating relatively complex machinery in the manufacture of a wide variety of parts conforming to accurate quality standards.

Set-up
- Ensure operation of departmental machinery.
- Make minor repairs to machine tools.
- Remove old tool from machinery and replaces with new tool.

Education / Experience
High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills.Good math skillsAbility to read blue printsGood mechanical skillsGood communication skillsKnowledge in the use of simple gauges (i.e. plug gauge)Physical Requirements
Visual ability (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications.Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work.Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.Ability to lift objects from lower to a higher position or moving horizontally from position-to-position.Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassistedThe above description reflects a general outline considered necessary to describe the principle function of the job identified.
