Bobcat Operator

The Pictsweet Company is looking for an experienced Bobcat Operator to join our team on first shift. The Bobcat Operator will operate diesel gas industrial equipment with lifting devices to move raw product onto processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily inspection of industrial truck (e.g. battery water lever, brake fluid, hydraulic fluid, strobe light, etc.) and reports any malfunctions for repairs.
• Maintains gas, oil and water levels unit at appropriate levels.
• Ensures air levels of tires are at appropriate levels
• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive industrial equipment and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Unloads raw product from trailers by raising and lowering device.
• Loads raw product onto conveyor belt.
• Maintains an even flow of product on feeder conveyor belt.
• Ensures battery is properly charged and handled.
• Maintains work areas clean.
• Will don personal protective equipment (PPE) before commencing work.
• Follows all safety guidelines set forth by the Company
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION : High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

EXPERIENCE : Minimum six (6) months experience operating industrial equipment in an industrial setting

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules / signs, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
