Regional Training Director

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking a part-time, highly motivated, mission-driven, and relationship-oriented professional to serve as our Regional Training Director. We are seeking a strategic leader to guide the Mid-Atlantic Regional Learning Center.

Duties : The Mid-Atlantic Director of Learning Centers is responsible for :

• Building, and providing dynamic leadership for the Mid-Atlantic Learning Centers in DE, MD, NJ, PA, DC, and VA.
• Cultivating and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Creating and implementing best practices for Service Delivery Triage, Training & Event Services, and Peer Community Alignment.
• Plays a leading role in developing and executing leadership development strategies, and high-quality training experiences for the Mid-Atlantic region that develops diverse, talented, and engaged purpose-driven leaders.
• Continuously conduct needs assessments to leadership development needs throughout the region.

This position requires the ability to travel to and between branch, association, and community locations throughout the region.

Qualifications :

This position requires a passionate, culturally competent individual with proven leadership skills who can adapt to a continually evolving environment. A college degree is required in human services, human resources, organizational development, or a related area. A minimum of five years in a management role, as well as knowledge of learning and organizational development best practices is required. Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills including data collection and interpretation, ability to manage multiple demands and priorities, ability to be an articulate spokesperson on behalf of the YMCA, ability to develop genuine relationships with a variety of constituents are required.
