Many companies are hiring AI engineers or researchers. Few are creating roles like this. The Applied AI Lead is not here to write code. This is a builder's seat : technically fluent, entrepreneurial in mindset, and charged with finding the places where AI can change the way we work.

You'll identify opportunities, design solutions, and lead initiatives that create AI-powered products. These products will accelerate Vessel's mission today — and may become commercial businesses tomorrow.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Vessel's Founder to identify opportunities where cutting edge technology can power business transformation.
• Take the lead in designing, developing and launching new products that will first support Vessel's business and ultimately, might become commercializable products themselves
• Manage the implementation of these products across the company, soliciting feedback from your internal "customers" and using it to iterate through new product generations
• Identify ways in which the products you build could be marketed to third-parties (think AWS) and develop the strategy to take them to launch.
