Elmet Technologies  is seeking a 5-Axis Precision Machinist . This person  will operate advanced CNC machines that can move along axes (3-axis, 5-axis, etc.) simultaneously to produce complex, high-precision parts.

Full-Time, Year-Round position

This is a 3rd shift position, with training on 1st shift for approximately 30-60 days; 3rd shift hours are 10 : 00 PM – 6 : 30 AM.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-7 years previous CNC Precision machining (3-axis, 5-axis)
• High School of Vocational School Diploma and / or GED required.
• The ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and layouts, understand general tolerances, utilize measuring equipment (optical comparator, micrometers, dial calipers, dial indicators and any necessary inspection equipment) and computer software programs.
• Display competence in operating and maintaining all machines in defined department.
• Business needs and trade compliance requirements mandate that this position be held by a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
