Salary : Up to 120k based on experience

What Were Looking For : To excel in this position, you should bring :

Experienced Estimator with experience in FDOT and local Tampa Bay Area municipalities.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.

Experience in estimating software HeavyBid.

Proficiency in takeoff software Plan Swift program and / or Bluebeam.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in cost control measures.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts, and specifications effectively.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Ability to organize and manage the tasks and responsibilities individually.

A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Time management skills are important as this role will require working on multiple estimates at a time.

About the Role : Are you ready to change the game and join an incredible team? As an Estimator, you will :

Analyze contract documents to cost estimates for construction projects.

Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid to create detailed estimates.

Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate pricing and scope of work.

Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary data for estimates.

Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing.

Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to provide informed estimates.

Reports to the VP of FDOT division.
