Job Title : Safety Specialist

Type of Role : Direct Hire

Shift / Hours : 8am - 5pm

Location : San Antonio, TX

Salary : $40K - 55K

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Programs : Assist in implementing and maintaining safety programs and procedures in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry standards.
• Inspections & Risk Assessments : Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and recommend corrective actions.
• Incident Investigation : Investigate accidents, identify root causes, and track corrective actions.
• Audits & Compliance : Assist with internal safety audits and maintain compliance records.
• Training : Lead safety training sessions and promote safety awareness across teams.
• Reporting : Track and report safety performance (e.g., incidents, near misses) to management.
• Regulatory Updates : Stay updated on safety regulations and ensure internal policies reflect changes.
• Emergency Preparedness : Assist with emergency drills and procedures.
