Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,687 per week

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Bethpage, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

• 2 Night Tele RN (7 : 00pm-7 : 30am) -48H- 13 Week Contract
• 3 Day Tele RN  (7 : 00am-7 : 30pm)- 48H- 13 Week Contract
• 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule minimum
• All RNs require, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC preferred
• Triage, Adult and Pediatric competency
• All RNs need to have tele competency – they will be required to float to all med-surg / tele units (they are the first to float over regular staff).

As a professional practitioner, the RN - Telemetry assumes the responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of telemetry patients. The RN – Telemetry demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner, with supervision.  The RN - Telemetry exhibits critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care, and consistently performs according to nursing standards while remaining accountable for providing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
