Job description

Beacon of Strength Mental Health Services is looking for a mental health therapist to join our team in Virginia, MN. This role is a 1099 contract position with the ability to

  • manage your own schedule and build your own caseload.

The role will split their time between in-person sessions in our Virginia office and telehealth sessions, working with children through adults.

  • Requirements :
  • Must have active therapy license (LGSW, LICSW, LPC, LPCC).
  • Must be able to commute to Virginia office.
  • Must have personal computer to be able to hold telehealth sessions & complete documentation.
  • Must have experience with children, adolescents and adults.
  • Must have strong communication skills, time management and organization skills.
  • Must be open to working with women who are in the recovery process for their mental health and / or chemical dependency struggles.
  • Training in EMDR
  • and / or Play Therapy huge bonus
  • What we provide :
  • Compensation :
  • $40-50 / session; $50 / Diagnostic Assessment
  • Monthly team meetings via Zoom
  • Bi-Weekly Group Case Consultations via Zoom
  • Clinical supervision
  • Training opportunities to earn CEUs
  • Opportunities to attend and participate in mental health conferences and other events
  • Administrative support to help with scheduling & client intake, as well as handle billing / insurance claims.
