Job Description

The Digital Department worker will be responsible for operating a machine, ensuring it is set up correctly and running smoothly. Unlike traditional printing presses, digital presses require less manual labor. Workers will be trained to load paper rolls into the machine without lifting, enter orders via computer, monitor the process, and count and stack products. This role involves light lifting of up to 20 pounds and mostly standing while observing the machine. Tecnau machines are used, and a Tecnau technician is available on-site for immediate assistance in case of breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate digital printing machines.
• Load paper rolls into the machine without manual lifting.
• Enter orders into the computer and monitor the printing process.
• Count and stack finished products at the end of the machine.
• Perform light lifting of up to 20 pounds regularly.
• Stand and observe the machine for the majority of the shift.

Work Environment

The role operates on a 1st shift schedule from 7am to 3pm in a large, climate-controlled production facility. The environment is loud but well-lit, clean, and tidy to accommodate frequent client tours. The dress code includes tying back long hair, removing or securing sweatshirt strings, avoiding dangly jewelry, wearing closed-toed shoes, and refraining from clothing with profanity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 / hr.
