Senior EDI Specialist

We are currently seeking a Senior EDI Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Raritan, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly impact healthcare delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple EDI-related projects from initiation to completion within corporate deadlines.

Serve as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams via phone and email.

Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex EDI issues in collaboration with clients and vendors.

Deliver exceptional customer service and follow-up support.

Work cross-functionally with sales, lab operations, and third-party vendors to resolve client issues efficiently.

Analyze client ordering patterns to identify and address potential issues early, improving electronic ordering and result delivery.

Required Qualifications

Associates degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in EDI or project management within the healthcare industry.

Proven experience working with various EMR vendors and / or laboratories on lab implementations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent project management, organizational, and customer service abilities.

Ability to work professionally across departments and with leadership at all levels.

Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with lab ordering systems and electronic result delivery platforms.

Familiarity with HL7 standards and healthcare interoperability protocols.

Prior experience in a client-facing technical support or implementation role.

Pay Range : $80-95k

All job offers will be based on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees / certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
