Medical Laboratory Technician

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for Medical Laboratory Technician for a leading nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to equitable and compassionate patient care. This is an onsite role based in West Hollywood, California.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role provides hands-on clinical laboratory testing in a dynamic and mission-driven environment. The Technician ensures accurate, timely, and reliable patient test results while maintaining a safe and compliant laboratory. The position offers exposure to multiple clinic locations and collaboration with a supportive healthcare team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing procedures with accuracy and attention to detail

• Monitor laboratory quality control, preventive maintenance, and compliance with established safety protocols

• Troubleshoot equipment and test methods while notifying leadership of irregularities

• Maintain supply levels and support overall lab operations, including clerical or phlebotomy tasks as needed

• Collaborate with team members to evaluate new procedures and improve lab services

• Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and departmental meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid California Clinical Medical Technician license

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Flexibility to work at multiple clinic locations and adapt to schedule changes

• Comfort working in a diverse environment and supporting inclusive patient care

COMPENSATION:
