Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 11 : 00 AM - 10 : 30 PM

Fri 11 : 00 AM - 10 : 30 PM

Sat 11 : 00 AM - 10 : 30 PM

Sun 11 : 00 AM - 04 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, activities, or hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.
  • Support store staff and patrons by providing information or assistance as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
