Job description

LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice MD in New Jersey!

About The Position

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 48-week locum tenens assignment in New Jersey. This opportunity starts on Oct 1, 2025, and involves working two days per week, accommodating a flexible schedule between Monday and Saturday. The physician will handle both sick and well visits, including some women's health tasks like pap smears.

  • Schedule : Any two days a week (M-SAT), with shorter hours on Saturday (8 : 30a - 2p)

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to both sick and well patients.
  • Conduct women's health checks including pap smears.
  • Manage common ailments such as back pain.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during visits.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and monitor ongoing health conditions.

  • Must be licensed to practice in New Jersey.
  • Board certification in Family Practice preferred but not required.
