Title : Maintenance Technician

Location : Geneva, IL

Hire Type : Direct Hire

Salary : $24.77–$32.32 / hr + shift differential + incentive pay

Shifts Available :

2nd Shift : 2 : 00 PM – 10 : 30 PM

3rd Shift : 10 : 00 PM – 6 : 30 AM

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and plant systems in a fast-paced, fully integrated production environment. This role supports safety, reliability, and performance goals through preventive and corrective maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the facility.

Job Duties :

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of manufacturing and plant equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility issues.

Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks.

Adjust and install machinery, power, controls, and utilities as needed.

Operate hand tools and machine shop equipment (lathe, milling machine, drill press, welder, etc.).

Create and document work orders, track parts, and log maintenance data accurately.

Maintain safe work practices and adhere to all PPE and safety requirements.

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of maintenance mechanic experience (manufacturing preferred).

Strong troubleshooting ability in mechanical and electrical systems.

Technical training in mechanical / electrical systems; PLC knowledge preferred.

Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and production specifications.

Strong problem-solving and data entry skills.

Must supply own tools.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (sponsorship not available).

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and work overtime or weekends as needed.
